Andrea Lieberstein is the director and founder of the Mindful Eating Training Institute, where she trains health professionals in evidence-based mindful eating and living programs, and Well Nourished Coaching™ certification programs. She is a certified mindfulness instructor, a mindful eating teacher trainer, and a registered dietitian nutritionist with over 30 years of experience in mindfulness-based stress reduction, nutrition, and wellness.
She is also the bestselling author of Well-Nourished: Mindful Practices to Heal Your Relationship with Food, Feed your Whole Self and End Overeating, a book that offers practical and compassionate guidance for transforming one’s relationship with food and nourishing the whole self. She has been a lead consultant and instructor in NIH-funded research at UCSF, a pioneer in mind-body programs at Kaiser Permanente, and a graduate of Stanford University and UC Berkeley. She is passionate about sharing the life-changing benefits of mindfulness, meditation, mindful eating, and healthy lifestyles with professionals and the public through her coaching, programs, and retreats.
